About Business Unit:

The Health Sciences Business Unit (“HSGBU”) was established in June of 2008 to form a focused business on the Life Sciences and Healthcare industry. For years Oracle has supported this industry with an evolving product line, the HSGBU now enables us to build a focused team of industry professionals to support and expand our product line. Our current product line includes the following: Oracle Clinical, TMS, RDC, AERS, LSH, Siebel Clinical and HTB, EHA, TRC, HSN, Signal, Safety, CDA and Inform. The HSGBU offers many opportunities as the unit encompasses many aspects of the business including Product Development, Product Strategy, Product Management, Consulting, SaaS, Pre-Sales, License and Consulting Sales.

Roles & Responsibilities:


          Argus Applications Analyst is responsible for installation, setup and configuring Argus suite of products (Argus Safety, Argus Insight,     Argus Analytics, Argus Mart and Empirica Signal) in Oracle cloud            including but not limited to

  • Heavy focus on the daily application configuration and maintenance of the Argus and Interchange applications
  • User/Group/Site provisioning
  • Addition of Products, Licenses, Regulatory Report Rules, Studies, Codelist changes, and various E2B file configurations o Maintenance and debugging of various integration points between the Argus application and others
  • Development and Execution of IQ's
  • Support- All of the Argus applications including application administration of Oracle Argus system for all environments, development, test and production systems including Agrus Application functionality - Active Cases / WorkList / Case Actions / Reports / Utilities / Dashboards / Argus Console including Business and System configurations o Argus Interchange (E2B) used in integrations to GCH and LSH
  • Integration of Argus Applications with Oracle Identity & Access Management.
  • Environment Patching & Security Configuration updates


Required Skills:


  • 2-8 years of experience with any one of the Argus Suite of products primarily on application administration
  • Experience working in 24*7 production environments
  • Excellent client interaction abilities, Superior customer service focus and value
  • Ability to multi-task in a highly-organized manner
  • Candidates should have: Experience with E2B software, Microsoft Office, SQL and PL/SQL, Unix and Windows
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

We are looking for a Director, Product Management who will help us position our Customer Insights and Analytics product in the Corporate Bank marketplace. The person in this role will be responsible for defining market requirements, managing customer interactions, and coordinating with sales, marketing, and functional engineers to successfully deliver product information to market. At the core, the Director, Product Management will be responsible for successfully developing the leading solution for Corporate Bank Customer Analytics.

Detailed Description

As a member of the Financial Services Global Business Unit division, you will define product marketing strategy, messaging, and market research. You will gather and analyze information to understand the marketplace, our customers and then would define go-to-market product requirements and packaging accordingly. You will communicate product strategy and functionality, initiate and foster relationships with other groups and review product documentation and collateral. Finally, you will ensure successful product launches based on corporate priorities.

Job Requirements

The duties and tasks of the position are varied and complex requiring independent judgment. You must fully understand the challenges the capital markets firms face in getting valid and timely business information. You must also understand the competitive vendor landscape for solutions to these problems. You will have project lead role and will work closely with Engineering to build the product and take it to market. A BS or MS degree or equivalent experience is preferred. Experience with Corporate Bank Customer Analytics is a must. Experience within a corporate bank is a big plus.

Given this job description, we're looking for a Director, Product Management with the following qualifications:

- You need to understand Analytics in corporate banks specifically and financial services companies broadly. This incorporates the delivery of business intelligence, integration with operational systems, integration with marts for enrichment, stochastic analytics, and data mining. Ideally, you would have worked at a large bank, insurer or capital markets firm.

- You need to understand the competitive offerings in the Analytics space as well as the business model for these products. You should be able to articulate the marketing strategy, market positioning, and delivery process of the major products and niche players and articulate a clear strategy for how Oracle can optimize revenues.

- You should have a strong understanding of installed base marketing and communications.

- You should have a clear portfolio of product collateral that you have developed. This portfolio would ideally include data sheets, white papers, FAQs, presentations, webcasts, podcasts, etc.

- Enthusiasm is critical. It's important for you to demonstrate passion for your work and the motivation to solve hard problems.

- A strong track record of achievement is critical. Whatever it is that you have done in the past, you should have demonstrated success.

- You should be super organized and transparent in your work.
