Unit: Oracle Retail (Xstore)
This position will be working on Oracle Retail XStore.
Oracle Retail Xstore Java POS is a flexible, fast and powerful point of
sale software solution. With Xstore, your staff process transactions
quickly, respond to inquiries efficiently, extend personalised offers based
on customer history and provide the personal touches with in-store
clienteling that are certain to strengthen customer loyalty. Store
associates can even step away from the register, using a mobile POS to
answer questions and transact sales.
Intuitive and easy to learn, Xstore delivers a high level of automation and
boosts productivity on the sales floor and the back office. With real-time
connectivity, you can link each stores data to corporate systems, drawing
and sharing information across channels.
Required Skills:

6+ years of work experience on Java
·
Be strong in J2EE technologies with
complete hands on experience and should have good knowledge of Java design
patterns.

Have good working knowledge of EJBs,
Spring framework, hibernate, jsps and servlets.
·
Have very good knowledge of databases
and their structure (specifically Oracle)
·
Quick learner and be able to take
design decisions
·
Able to refactor the code and make the
application strong and stable
·
Interact with customers and QA
effectively
·
Should be able to provide faster
turnaround on the customer bugs
·
Should be able to fix bugs, Code Review
and release the patches by aligning with the Release Management Team
·
Should be able to communicate effectively
with team and manager
·
Customer site experience with product
installation and custom development would be a plus
