We are setting up a new  group in Hyderabad with startup like high paced environment. This particular sub group will work on BlueKai products (a hot startup in the advertisement world acquired by Oracle).  Here you will get to work with talented engineers and will have a unique and enviable opportunity of working on challenging technical and product problems. You will be working in a fast paced and agile environment and will get the opportunity to work with other engineering teams and product managers to shape OMC's products and vision. You will work in an environment where we value, expect and reward peer to peer collaboration and you will be positioned to make a significant impact in OMC.

The candidate should be very strong technically and be able to ramp up on products independently and quickly. It is good if you have experience in developing product from scratch. Engineers from premier institutes (like IIT, NIT etc.) will be a good match.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• 5 to 16 years of development experience and should be hands on.

• Building scalable solutions, which handles a lot of data.

• Deep experience with Java/Java EE (e.g. design, development, debugging, performance tuning, etc.)

• Good grasp on REST standards.

• Solid understanding of SOA.

• Excellent knowledge of basic data structures and algorithms.

• Experience supporting mission critical APIs in production environments.

• Knowledge of build related tools such as Hudson/Jenkins and Gradle.

• Self-motivated with strong capability of learning new technologies quickly.

• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.

• Good team player.

• Experience with one or more of following technologies: Scala, Akka, Swagger (or RAML), and Spray.io (Must have a desire to learn this tech)

• Understanding of OAuth.

• General knowledge of API management.

Job Description

This position is to work with our Product Development Team - Eloqua. 

Eloqua is core oracle marketing automation product, fully multi-tenanted, completely on cloud, mainly used by marketers and sales to deliver their content. This is one of the fastest growing product & most happening place to work with in Oracle Cloud division.

• Part of Oracle Marketing Cloud division,
• Has large customer base from large, medium and small scale enterprise customers.

Required Skills:

• Seasoned manager, with strong experience in managing teams comprising of 10-15 members.
• 10+ years professional software development experience, working on large scale enterprise product development on cloud.
• Proven track record in leading teams and driving releases for delivering quality products in a timely manner under high pressure and aggressive schedules.
• You will have end to end ownership of cross-functional projects, including product definition, roadmap planning, resource planning and project execution.
• Along with business initiatives, you will also lead the definition and execution of strategic/tactical projects aimed at reducing the total cost and time to market for launch.
• You will work closely with business and operations leadership, including product management, architects and leadership team at Eloqua/OMC, to define the product and provide updates on the program.
• You will be hands-on in driving the delivery of critical business initiatives, managing all aspects of the project such as project planning, requirements definition, risk management, communication, and implementation planning.
• You will be a technical problem solver on the team, identifying innovative solutions to project deadlocks and resolving issues and constraints through consensus and sound judgment.
• You will be responsible for making project decisions, achieving tactical goals while retaining a strategic focus.
• You will work closely with the development teams, cross functional teams and play a leadership role in product architecture and design.
• Superior communication skills (written and verbal)
• Experience building enterprise class software and innovative culture in teams.
• Crack and/or come up with solutions to complex business/technical problems & challenges.
• Strong understanding of SOLID
• Experience with statically typed languages like C#/.NET or Java/J2EE
• Experience with dynamic languages like JavaScript, HTML5, React.js/Angular JS/JQuery/ExtJS
• Experience with REST, SOAP Services, XML, JSON
• Well versed with code review tools & Unit test frameworks/tools (like Junit, Test NG, etc)
• Strong experience in Databases like SQL Server or Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL, NoSQL
• Analytical and Problem Solving skills
• Strong experience in writing quality code, coming up with development best practices.

Hands on C# programming experience in Product Development environment is required.  

Experience working on Large Scale Enterprise Applications is required.
