Director – Product Management, Infinity - Oracle Marketing Cloud (OMC)

Roles and Responsibilities:

As a Director in Infinity Digital Analytics group within the OMC product development division, you will lead an India-based PM team that defines product specifications and strategy for core components of the Infinity data streaming and big data analytics platform.  In addition, your team will be the ‘product owner’ within the scrum teams, maintaining product backlogs and managing the delivery of product functionality to market.

Inbound Responsibilities:
  • ·         Gather and analyze information to define product requirements and use cases
  • ·         Envision and communicate product strategy and functionality
  • ·         Write, groom, and size user stories to appropriately scope functionality and estimate effort
  • ·         Initiate and foster relationships with other groups
  • ·         Write and/or review product documentation and collateral related to products being built
  • ·         Ensure successful product releases based on corporate priorities
  • ·         Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.
  • ·         Assists in the development of short, medium, and long-term plans to achieve strategic objectives.
  • ·         Regularly interacts across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure unit objectives are met.
  • ·         The ability to influence thinking or gain acceptance of others is important.


Go-to-Market Responsibilities:

  • ·         Understand customer and user personas to assist in customizing messaging and communications to/with them
  • ·         Deliver demos to customers and develop custom pitches
  • ·         Present to an executive customer audience
  • ·         Work with engineering on support and technical issues to resolve customer problems
  • ·         Contribute to pricing models


Required Skills:

  • ·         10 Yrs experience working in Product Management roles
  • ·         Experience and expertise in products that have grounding in analytics and data
  • ·         Proven experience in defining Product Specifications in large-scale enterprise applications.
  • ·         Expertise in Agile methodology
  • ·         Experience in writing stories for Cloud Applications.
  • ·         Demonstrated leadership and people management skills
  • ·         Should have demonstrated experience building sales & marketing collateral
  • ·         Strong communication skills, analytical skills, thorough understanding of product development and product management
  • ·         BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area
