Job Responsibilities

• Design and build systems to increase performance and scalability of Oracle’s SaaS and PaaS solution.
• Work directly with product development teams to design and build scalable systems
• Write scripts to monitor and automate processes
• Document current and future configuration processes and policies
• Think creatively and work independently, while interacting with product and engineering teams
• Define and document current and future configuration processes and policies
• Troubleshoot issues with application, technologies and infrastructure
• Directly responsible for service reliability


Must Have Qualities

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science and related fields.
• At least 5 years of experience with Linux/Oracle Database/Weblogic
• Experience in administration of Oracle eBiz or Fusion applications is a must.
• Experience with shell scripting / weblogic scripting / sql
• Experience in automating systems maintenance tasks
• Proven ability to plan, build and maintain large, reliable, scalable infrastructure
• Experience with Database or Java stack performance tuning
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Production Support experience

Nice to Have Qualities

• Experience with Database and Java stack performance tuning a big plus
• Extensive experience with HTTP, security, storage, virtual machines.
• Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager
• Experience managing Cloud infrastructure
